There are two reports of money raised: $9.4 million came from English based Canada for Haiti and addition $6.8 raised from French based Ensemble for Haiti. With this, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper ensured that all the money that the Canadian Government will match the money raised for Hope for Haiti Telethon,dollar for dollar.
