That is not to excuse Israel’s unreasonable, and perhaps even racist or illegal behavior. But it is an important and often ignored fact. But hey everyone. And when Jews tried to go to America or Britain their boats were turned away and many wound up in the death camps many Muslims suggest never existed (even though they also often like to say things like “go back to the ovens pigs and monkeys!” Another irony and fact is that during World War II, after the grand mufti of Jerusalem and father of Palestinian nationalism had toured Auschwitz, he specifically asked Hitler for permission to open his own death camps in Palestine. I don’t care if you heard this from reading the Times or from your liberal college professors (99% the limit of all your knowledge or exposure), but it’s just not true; Two, Suggesting the Jews “were not being prosecuted” after the point they were decimated is at best insensitive and at worst racist. Even if I agree that the Palestinians should have a homeland and Israel is violating their rights, can any sober and intellectually honest person really believe that it’s worse or more deserving of censure than the catastrophe above? Her comments about the global Jewish media conspiracy (yawn), and of course Russians (in order to minimize the holocaust), was a dead giveaway (no pun intended) that she really is a proud Jew hater. Had they not been brutalized, marginalized and murdered, there would have been a lot more of them in Palestine. One, Jews have been living in Palestine since before Islam. Three, more Jews were forced from their homes throughout the Arab / Muslim world than Palestinians were displaced from Palestine. I used to love Helen Thomas. It’s shocking to see how incredibly ignorant and stupid she is. Sadly for them, the Nazis (their friends and allies) lost.
