The new findings contradict an alternate theory that gravity, and not dark energy, is the force pushing space apart and causing it to expand. That alternate theory challenges Albert Einstein’s concept of gravity, because it has gravity acting at great distances as a repulsive force rather than an attractive one.

An unsolved mysteryDark energy has long been an unexplainable force, and the theory of its existence remains unproven, but the results of this new study could provide independent confirmation that it is behind the strange way that galaxies are being pulled from one another, against the tug of gravity.

Blake is lead author of two papers on the study appearing in an upcoming issue of the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. “The action of dark energy is as if you threw a ball up in the air, and it kept speeding upward into the sky faster and faster,” said Chris Blake of the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.

Dark energy is thought to dominate the cosmos, making up roughly 74 percent of the universe. “Normal” matter, which consists of anything with atoms, or the materials that make up living creatures, planets and stars, makes up only about 4 percent of the universe. Dark matter, a slightly less mysterious substance, accounts for 22 percent.

Supernovas emit constant, measurable light, which make them useful guideposts for astronomers to calculate the dying stars’ distance from Earth. Where did it come from? The theory of dark energy was proposed during the late 1990s, based on studies of distant explosions of dying stars called supernovas.

Astronomers observed many supernovas at different distances to determine how fast they are speeding away from us, and these measurements subsequently implied a strange force dark energy was flinging the objects out at accelerating speeds. By looking farther into space, scientists are effectively able to peer back in time, since the light we see from distant objects is light that left there billions of years ago.

Sound waves from the very early universe left imprints in the patterns of galaxies, causing galactic pairs to be separated by about 500 million light-years. Mapping the cosmosDetailed information about the light for each galaxy was obtained from the Anglo-Australian Telescope, and the team of astronomers studied the pattern of distance between them.

The astronomers also used the galaxy map to study how clusters of galaxies grow over time like cities, eventually containing many thousands of galaxies. The gravitational pull of the clusters attracts new galaxies, but dark energy appears to tug them apart, and scientists are able to measure dark energy’s repulsive force.

“Using entirely independent methods, data from the Galaxy Evolution Explorer have helped increase our confidence in the existence of dark energy.”. “Observations by astronomers over the last 15 years have produced one of the most startling discoveries in physical science: The expansion of the universe, triggered by the Big Bang, is speeding up,” said Jon Morse, director of the astrophysics division at NASA headquarters in Washington, D.C.

(PhysOrg.com) – Cosmologists by Alan Coley, Dalhousie University in Canada, and Bernard Carr of Queen Mary University of London published an article on arXiv, suggest that some so-called primordial black holes could be created in the Big Crunch, which came before the Big Bang, which corroborates the theory that the Big Bang was not an isolated event but occurs over and over again that the universe crunches at one point, broke again and again.

The idea is based on the fact that the Earth and the rest of the known universe is sometimes bombarded with unexplained gamma ray bursts, which, according to Carr and Coley, the result of a black hole short of primary energy and the disintegration .

In this new theory, however, Carr and Coley suggest that some of these black holes if any, may have been created by the collapse of the universe in the Big Crunch, then escaped being shot at uniqueness is to find the rest . Many theorists of the idea that there are other types of black hole that formed in the first "moments after the Big Bang, black holes that could be smaller and the energy of the Big Bang it himself. primordial black holes are believed to be a rate different from normal that are formed when a supernova, leaving a vacuum that is filled by the person who is commonly known as a black hole. The problem is that the agreement probably will not understand the difference between before and after the Big Bang and primordial black hole. And then, after the Big Bang, the universe simply treated at the latest.

Questions like whether the universe contracts, then explodes again and again, is gone forever? Or is it possible that our view of the universe is so limited that we are only seeing a small fraction of it, and thus to offer theories or explanations are merely guesses. That is all pure speculation, of course, nobody believes a primordial black hole, and even offered evidence that they exist, but it raises very difficult questions, which are impossible for scientists to see much less likely to respond. And finally, perhaps the most difficult of all, it is possible that the universe is always done, without limits or borders? That would mean the Big Bang was actually a little more than a small event happening in a game of infinite extent.

AbstractWe debate whether black holes are likely to persist in a universe that recollapses then bounced into a new phase of expansion. In particular, we study the mass range where blacks could survive the resumption of the holes and ways to make the difference between black hole observations, formed shortly after and just before the final farewell. We also discuss implications of the universe through a series of variations in the size goes up for a rebound. If the rebound is a classic or quantum gravity, as the cosmological models are very topical.

The study concluded by an international team of scientists has revealed that one in 38 children are suffering from autistic spectrum disorder, contrary to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) the rate of 1 in 100 is previously disclosed. A new study just published in the American Journal of Psychiatry found that rates of autism in children may be more than double what earlier studies have found.

Mr. Kim Young-Shin Yale Child Study Center co-author of reasearch, carried out in South Korea. One of the objectives of the study of Kim was to get a clearer picture of reality and the ordinary rate of autism by detecting untreated cases of autism among children in integrated communities. Asscoicated the press.

I do not think South Korea has more children with autism than the United States, but autism often goes undiagnosed in many countries. However, they were surprised by how the rate was high. With the expansion of the network and see about normal children, researchers expected to find higher rates of the characteristics of autism.

Many of these children may have mild social disorders diagnosed, rather than more severe autism. "That does not mean that suddenly there are more children with the new (TEA)," said co-author Dr. "I'm still here, but were not counted in previous prevalence studies." . Young-Shin Kim of Yale Child Study Center.

To date, no evidence of differences in the way of ASD in children is expressed through the world, but it is possible that cultural factors may influence the practices of diagnosis and prevalence estimates. Consequently, the study of South Korea has adopted a comprehensive strategy to reduce the possibility of cultural bias. This study is further evidence that autism transcends cultural, geographical and ethnic and that autism is a major concern for global public health is not confined to the western world.

According to the press release from Ubisoft, Ezio Revelations journey to Constantinople, where an army of Templars increasingly threatens to destabilize the region. "Apparently, there is a journey of" discovery and disclosure. "There is also an indirect reference to the murderer, in the footsteps of their Italian ancestor, Altair, the protagonist of the first half. This is particularly intriguing. A teaser image posted on the Facebook page of the game, also showed a character that resembled Altair, which suggests a kind of plot machinations between chronological.

Assassin's Creed: Review brothers.

I can not wait, I thought Brotherhood was going to be an expansion in the short and proved to be the best AC yet! As they make these games more, more is better, Assassin's Creed and III play as Desmond in the modern / future. There is a rumor that Altair is also present in this game.

If you can power the complex interaction V murderers Templars would be nice, but frankly, I'd be happy just to have the opportunity to run around a new city history / ha each year. I would be happy if you just had the same engine as Ubisoft released a new game every year or so in a different city and time period. Appears to be essentially unlimited potential for the number of places you can go.

The new fuel, they said, could be available in service stations in the coming years. A bio-energy plant in the largest distillery in Fife, Scotland, is nearing completion.

The same is true in the American Museum of Natural History. Aden and Mona were happy to be there and hated that we could not do more, but each brother dragging their feet small and our need to fly the same day, it was not possible. What's really fun for us this museum is that my brother, Barrett worked as a model, so the tour are the best. He came to town to overlap with us for a few days at the end of our journey, and the museum, said he made the frog on the wall of biodiversity (Aden, said with sincerity the most realistic of all frogs in the wall) and display models of errors in the jungle. One of the best parts of having Barrett Long is not only respond to questions about the nature of my children (which is much more interesting than listening to me say, "Hey, we're going to Google when I get home!"), But you know Fun behind the scenes information and certainly will miss the things (like the fact that they have a navel added that the size of the blue whale, the living model of the ocean during the last renewal).
